Piesta pop-up restaurant
Introduction
Treat yourself to a special dinner experience as Piesta Farm Café, tucked away among the forests of Vändra on the edge of Soomaa, transforms into a restaurant.
The recipe for a lovely dinner is simple: a welcoming house, honest flavours, well-chosen drinks and good company. You’ll find all of these at Piesta Kuusikaru Farm on 9 October, when our pop-up restaurant opens its doors for only one evening.
What makes an evening at Piesta special is that guests can see the kitchen in action and follow the dishes coming together. With the chef Maia Smõslova in charge, the menu will quite literally be filled with the scent and flavours of apples:
—
Celery and apple purée soup with fried escargots and Gorgonzola
—
Pan-fried chicken liver with warm apple salad and potato straws
—
Beef cheek with vegetable rolls, potato cream and beer-apple sauce
—
Apple tartlet with ice cream and a crisp honey-and-nut wafer
—
Price of the four-course menu is €55 per person.
Drinks to be ordered separately on the spot.
Seats are limited – Piesta Farm Café is charmingly small, and we intend to keep it that way.
