Introduction

The Pärnu Museum's new permanent exhibition invites you to discover the story of Pärnu and Pärnu County, both within the context of Baltic Sea history and at the crossroads of Estonia’s historic milestones. The history of Pärnu is revealed through four unique stories: "The Source of Our Story", "A Tale of Two Cities", "The Birth of a Nation-State", and "Pärnu – the Summer Capital". As an innovative feature, the exhibition includes an open storage facility showcasing the museum's own, usually hidden story.
