On June 21 at 11:25, astronomical summer begins and traditionally Tallinn will hand over the Summer Capital title to Pärnu.
This year, we’re celebrating the arrival of summer with a full day of events, starting at the beach and ending with a big summer evening party at the Yacht Club!

Flag raising, greetings from the mayor and guests, and a musical performance by the actors and musicians of the summer production “Raim”.

Author Tiit Kask will present the publication for "Pärnu, the Summer Capital of Estonia", an exhibition hall in Pärnu Museum’s permanent exhibition

15:00-17:00 Activities for children and youth
Munamäe Park
Characters from Lottemaa will be there, along with a trampoline area, while skateboard instructor Valev Koitla will share tips and perform tricks at the skatepark. A trick competition will also take place!
16:30-18:30 Afternoon Tea
Wasa Resort garden
Petanque, accordion music, greetings from the mayor and cherry tree planting, as well as fascinating stories about the history of the resort town and Wasa.
17:00 Boat Parade
The parade begins at the mouth of the Reiu River.
The boat parade arrives beneath the old bridge and continues towards the Yacht Club.
18:00 Concerts on the Yacht Club stage
