Pärnu Art School Art Advanced Studies Students' Exhibition "72450 Minutes for Art"
Introduction
On Wednesday, May 27 at 5:00 PM, Pärnu Art School Art Advanced Studies Students' Exhibition "72450 Minutes for Art" will open at Pärnu City Gallery in Endla Theatre. You are warmly invited!
Pärnu Art School Art Advanced Studies Students' Exhibition "72450 Minutes for Art" is an exhibition that brings together the creative journey, dedication and consistent work of students in the 1st–5th year of the children's art school's advanced studies.
The title symbolizes the time that an advanced studies student devotes to art over the course of five years - to lessons, experiments, successes, mistakes, discoveries and growth.
Advanced studies at an art school mean more than drawing or painting lessons. It is a conscious decision to invest your time in creativity, to learn to notice the world in more detail and to develop the ability to express your thoughts and feelings in a visual language. During these years, hundreds of sketches, dozens of works and countless ideas are created that shape the handwriting of young authors.
The exhibition features students in the 1st–5th year of the advanced studies. Students of the course, whose works reflect the world of young creators at different ages and stages of development, forming a diverse whole where experimentation, technical development, courage and personal stories meet.
Special attention is paid to this year's graduates - two young artists Eleonora Palm and Luule Ruukel, who have completed a five-year journey of in-depth study.
Their dedication, consistency and love for art deserve recognition. Five years of regular creativework requires determination and internal motivation, and this exhibition celebrates their significant achievement. The starting point of their graduation theses is reflections on various aspects of human nature, from the interpretation of archetypal human types to further developments in human portraiture based on their inner feelings.
The young people point out: "Humans are still fascinating and inspiring!"
"72450 minutes for art" is both a summary of the work done and a look into the future - a time that has shaped young creators and given them the ability to notice, think and create.
The exhibition features paintings, drawings, form works, compositions, graphics, installations and photography.
The works are supervised by teachers: Andres Adamson, Riina Georg, Kristel Pajos, Ene Riso, Kirsti Tuum and Liina Unt.
You are welcome to visit the exhibition and be part of the creative journey of the young artists.
The exhibition can be viewed until June 13.
Exhibitions at Endla Theatre can be accessed through the cafe entrance Tue–Fri 11:00–17:00 and Sat 11:00–14:00. From June 2: Tue–Sat 11:00–18:00
