Introduction
A colorful and multi-layered program of "new world" music, where jazz and Afro-American rhythms and harmonies intertwine with elements of classical music. Here the creative worlds of various musicians who emigrated to America meet, from A. Dvorak, G. Gershwin, L. Bernstein and others.
Variations on the theme "I got Rhythm" and well-known melodies from the opera "Porgy and Bess", as well as arrangements from the musical "West Side Story" and others, offer a moody mosaic, united by the idea of the American dream which speaks to both young and old.
