Yllar Varik “Constructive Summer”
Introduction
On Tuesday, August 19th at 5:30 PM, the exhibition “Constructive Summer” by Yllar Varik will open in Pärnu City Gallery’s Artists' House project space. You are welcome to attend!
Deep in the human unconscious is a pervasive need for a logical universe that makes sense, but the real universe is always one step beyond logic. It is impossible to live in the past, difficult to live in the present, and a waste to live in the future. The mystery of life isn't a problem to solve, but a reality to experience. Seek freedom and become captive of your desires. Seek discipline and find liberty in a world of your construction. This exhibition puts us inside the moment of a constructive summer.
Yllar Varik (02.05.1961, Kohtla-Järve) is an Estonian painter and designer. He works at Varik Projekt as a designer-decorator. He has been head of the Põlva Art Club (1992-1994) and Põlva City Artist (1993). Compiled and edited art catalogues: Andres Sütevaka "Väike ja vihane" (2011) and Herman Talvik "Ma põlen" (2016).
