THE STORY OF THE PÄRNU ELEPHANT

Free
Exhibition/Art
Exhibition/Art
Introduction

In recent years, the elephant symbolising happiness has become a symbol of Pärnu and an integral part of the urban space almost by itself. Why is that? Is there a story behind it?
The answer is ‘yes’. Pärnu has indeed developed a special bond with elephants and there is more than one story behind it.

The free exhibition is on display at the Pärnu Museum, where the temporary Pärnu Tourist Information Center is also located this summer.
