Introduction

On Friday, April 11th at 5:00 PM, an exhibition of female artists titled "PHOENIX" will be opened at Pärnu City Gallery in the Town Hall. The exhibition curator is Eveli Varik. You are welcome to attend!

Eveli Varik has brought together women artists of her generation to take part in the exhibition PHOENIX, or the Eternal Rebirth.

The curator emphasizes the individual artistic styles that have emerged over years of creation, as well as a strong sense of self-awareness within the artistic landscape. The message the exhibition seeks to convey is clear: we are artists today just as we were 30 years ago.

At the Pärnu City Gallery, visitors will be able to discover a selection ranging from the artists’ early experiments to their most recent works. This group exhibition of women with unique journeys, PHOENIX, will be on view at the Pärnu City Gallery from April 9 to May 3, 2025.

Artists: Katrin Valgemäe, Iris Jurma-Kangur, Alide Zvorovski, Marina Aleksejeva, Anne Rudanovski, Katrin Saag, Meiu Münt, Maria-Kristiina Ulas, Ülle Saatmäe,

Maris Siimer, Kalli Kalde, Kaire Nurk, Katrin Kaev, Lylian Lainoja, Tiina Tammetalu, Eve Ermann, Lembe Ruben, Tiiu Rebane, Eveli Varik.

The exhibition is supported by Cultural Endowment of Estonia.
